The Santa Barbara Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has established a new Golf Club under the Latino Golf Association (LGA). The Santa Barbara LGA Club will be the host of the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Annual Charity Golf Tournament held each May at the beautiful Glen Annie Golf Club. Our (LGA) Club will host monthly networking golf outings the first Tuesday of each month at golf courses determined by our members throughout the Santa Barbara County . These networking golf outings will be a great way to meet new people, build business relationships, share ideas, and will help to develop business leads as we enjoy the great game of Golf. The Club will also sponsor and host Educational Golf Clinics to inspire and motivate young Latinas and Latinos to start playing golf. These Golf Clinics will be sponsored by Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Member “Simone Herrera” of Ocean Meadows Golf Club. Some of the beneficiaries of these clinics are the UCSB Latino Business Association (LBA) and the Mentorship program headed by Santa Barbara Chief of Police Cam Sanchez.
